Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV)
For information on branch locations, call the RMV at 617-351-4500 or go to their web site at Massrmv. Hours and current wait times are shown on the site. 

• The RMV closest to Bedford is in Lowell, MA. Follow the signs off Route 3 at the Rt. 110 exit (towards Lowell) 
• Lowell Registry Hours are 9-5 Weekdays except Thursday which is 10-6.
• None of the RMV branches have Saturday hours.
• The student can get a free copy of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Driver’s Manual at the RMV and study on his own. The manual is also available on line at Massrmv.
