President's Message

Dear Bedford High Parents and Guardians,

As the year ends, I would like to thank the BHSPA Board Officers, Committee Members and all of our the General Membership (Parents / Guardians) for their efforts and continued support.

Over the past two years, our fundraising efforts have produced increased dividends. As a result of this success, every student receives an Academic Agenda at no charge. We have supported the Sophomore Community Service Day, the All Night Graduation, the Citizen's Scholarship Foundation, the "Lookout" – BHS Student Newspaper, Euro Challenge, Global Voices Class, History Fair, and SEPAC. Additionally, we contributed to the BHS Fallen Veteran's Memorial and Anti-Bullying educational materials.

We recently donated two beautiful Maple benches in the lobby at the entrance to the auditorium in memory of Ann Milligan, our long time, BHS Secretary.

The events we provide and /or participate in are; New Parent Orientation, Faculty Meals (3 Annually), College Night, Principal's Roundtables and Bedford Day.

Communications is our "behind the scenes" talent! Thanks to our dedicated staff you receive these various e-mails: Daily Announcements, Weekly Calendars and Bi-Monthly Newsletters. Our website reconstruction is completed and is ready for this "official launch". It is an excellent parent resource. Visit – www.BedfordHighPA.org. All of these things blended together acknowledge the value of our electronic communications!

It is wonderful to see so many new faces joining the upcoming BHSPA Board. I am confident their enthusiasm advances our mission that supports the parents, students and administration of BHS. Go Buccaneers!
